Finalists of the Sustainable Business Awards form the coveted 'Next' list - an annual list of people and organisations leading us towards a better future. In 2025, there were 119 organisations and people on the list.
The Awards, which have been running for 24 years, celebrate success in sustainability.
In the face of unprecedented environmental and social challenges, the Sustainable Business Awards showcase those driving bold action and groundbreaking innovation.
In 2026 there are eight categories, aligned with our mission to drive transformative change.
The finalists comprise the Next list, an annual list of innovators, entrepreneurs, projects and organisations. In 2025 there were 119 organisations and people on the list.
Entry to the Sustainable Business Awards is free and open to anyone. All finalists will be considered for nomination to the global Earthshot prize, with £1 million prizes on offer. Entries closed 30 June 2026 and finalists will be announced in September.
